~Life is unfair~ Short poem by Elyse Manzo

Life is unfair
As you can see from up there,
No is the main answer
People dying from cancer,
Not understanding a thing
Most things just a fling,
Tears shedding for no reason
Coughing and tough wheezing,
Criminals on the loose
Living like a recluse.
Life is unfair
Knots and tangles in your hair,
People yelling and screaming
People hiding and leaving,
Smiles turned upside down
First expression is a frown,
Waiting by the phone
Waiting all alone,
Why do we lie
Never wanting to cry?

Life is unfair
Why do we have to care,
The truth only through music
Harsh but we can use it,
No luck in life
Can’t find a wife,
Husband not at home
Husband not alone,
Road rage out of control
Fewer people put on patrol,

Life is unfair.
